| Tha Definition of
C.R.U.N.K. is a strategic acronym
for Christ Renewing U N the Kingdom.
It is a Christian Hip Hop Concert
that will take place on October 13th,
2007 at 6PM. |
| What artist’s
will be at this event? |
|
Our featured artist is
Tedashii. Many of you may
know of him by the way of his label
mates Lecrae and Trip Lee from Reach
Records. You may also have heard his
song “Houston We Have a Problem”.
Also, we have coming from Cincinnati
Gospel EMI Recording Artist
K-Drama. He is very well
known in the Christian Hip Hop
Industry and has also been selected
for a Holy Hip Hop Award in January
at the Holy Hip Hop Awards and
Showcase in Atlanta. We also have
our very own Double Edge Sword
Record’s Recording Artist’s
S.O.C.O.M., JayMay, and Da Clay.
This is special because Da Clay is
set to release his Freshman Project
“Genesis: My Life After His Death”.
So this will also be a CD Release
Party for Da Clay. We have our
partner and good friend MVP
owner/founder of Divine Flava
Record’s and also, all the way from
Oklahoma City our good friend
Apaulsoul who is definitely
no stranger to Colorado. |

Where and Why are you even doing
this event? |
|
We are partnering with Youth Pastor
Ed and Pastor Dave at First
Church of the Nazarene at 4120 E
Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO.
The vision and reasoning of us
putting this event together is to
impact the urban culture of our city
by reaching the young, lost, and
unsaved without compromising the
message of Jesus Christ. We will
REACH them through music,
TEACH them through
discipleship classes, and SEND
them back into their neighborhoods
and schools changed, unashamed,
transformed, and able to reach
others through the message of Jesus
Christ with boldness and confidence. |

is just a concert? |

Oh no! You know how Double Edge
Sword get’s down. We are having a 3
on 3 basketball tournament which
will be hosted by G-Life Outreach,
Skate Competition in which we are
having a mobile skate park brought
out by the Lay It Down Tour Skate
Team. They will be heading this up
and last but not least for those
that like to dance like David did we
got a $200 Cash Prize dance
competition during the event! |

let the people know about? |
| Of course. We will
have prizes, raffles, FOOD, and
giveaways, The competitions are FREE
to watch and begin at 10AM. The
concert is only $5 and doors open at
6PM Sharp! All this goes down on
Saturday, October 13th,
2007. Our main focus is to get these
young adults and teens to this event
so they can hear the same message of
Jesus Christ but in a way the can
relate to him and prayerfully so
they can give their life to Christ!!
This is one event you do not want to
miss if you are in the surrounding
area. Double Edge Hosts 2 major
events a year in which this is the 2nd
one. Also, keep your ears open for
what might go down at MidWest Music
Fest 3 in April 2008!! |
